In 1964, Dr. Márcio de Lima Castro, physiatrist, specialist in Rehabilitation medicine, after returning from specialization courses abroad, brought with him a new vision of the neuromotor rehabilitation process for children and adolescents with physical disabilities in vulnerable situations.
